In the metropolis known as The Outside, business-savvy Daniel Chatskee is the co-founder of The Masked Tour Guide, who discovers that the business starts to falter during The Masked Identity Crisis. Because of this, Daniel decides to conform to the trend by masking the business's struggles by keeping up its good reputation among the public and Curtis Wilde.
However, Daniel realizes that masking the Masked Tour Guide's business struggles becomes a challenge when he begins to witness how Curtis faces the pressure to not give in to society's expectations of keeping on the mask, getting Daniel to question whether to reveal the truth to Curtis without knowing the how it will impact his friendship with Curtis Wilde and the risks of unmasking the truth to The Outside, acknowledging that the mayor is "Always Watching."
